Find DCI by description (search is case-insensetive).
Syntax
FindDCIByDescription(node, description);
Parameters
node Node object. Predefined variable $node can be used to refer to current node in transformation script or event processing policy rule. description DCI description.
Return Value
DCI ID on success or 0 if DCI with matching description was not found.
Examples
FindDCIByDescription($node, "Status") -> 4 /* perhaps */ FindDCIByDescription($node, "bad dci") -> 0
